I read someplace that the best thing you can do as a soldier is to assume that you are already dead. There is no point in fearing death since you are already dead. Then you fight to get your life back again.
So that's what I'm doing. We're just going for it, walking into the machine guns, so to speak. If we don't resolve this soon, their going go kill us anyway, so we might as well go as far and and fast as we can. They won't know what hit them.
We abducted that fool Remmick and stashed him in a safe house. We had to use that mind trick on Dad again. He doesn't even remember renting the room. I feed guilty using him, but we didn't start this.
We are dealing with people who will kill. So are they. Ezekiel said that powerful forces support us. I hope they are good at what they do. The funny thing is that I'm really not afraid. Wish me luck.
