This is the 44th in a series of episodes about 3 young girls who manage to adopt an inter-dimensional entity.
It's a cold and windy January afternoon as the girls walk to the Navy office for their Tuesday meeting. An ominous feeling of dread hits them as they enter the building. Something is different, and it isn't good.
"What the fuck?" Eileen says as she enters an empty room where Commander Beakers office was supposed to be. A man in a suit sits in the only chair in the room and the girls are directed to sit on the couch, the only other piece of furniture in the room.
"Where the hell is Beaker?" Ella asks with a serious look on her face.
"I'm not sure where to start." says the man in the suit. "I'm Lieutenant Commander John Remmick. I'm here at the direction of the White House pursuant to recent executive orders. I guess let's start at the beginning."
Remmick continues. "For the last 4 years America has been under attack. Little by little we have been torn apart from the inside out. This hasn't been an attack from the outside, but an inside job by a faction of what has been referred to as the Deep State. This faction, through mainly financial means, has captured much of congress, industry, the military, and the administration of this country. We have a new administration now and it's indeed A New Day in America. At the direction of the White House we are beginning the process of repairing the damage. Many programs including military programs are being reorganized or eliminated."
"As part of the reorganization Commander Beaker and his team have been reassigned. I was sent here to begin the process of repairing the damage done to you young girls by this rogue program that you were a part of."
Ella thinks to her crew. "Be careful girls. Remember to not look at each other when using telepathy. Just stare at this fool like we are interested in what he has to say."
"So are you replacing Commander Beaker?" Eileen asks.
"No. His program has been eliminated. Our only concern now is to provide healing therapies to you girls. You have been damaged in ways you don't understand. The Navy has a weapon that can place false memories into the brain, and the mind, of individuals. This is used to confound and confuse the enemy. Unfortunately and illegally the Navy used this weapon on you girls, to plant false memories into your brain. We have the therapy available to repair the damage, at least most of it." Commander Remmick says with a serious look.
"What kind of BS is that? You say we were damaged with false memories? What sort of memories are you talking about?" Helana asks.
"It has to do with a program that is called MiLab, which is short for Military Abduction. Only one of you has been physically abducted but you all have been mentally abducted. Very little of what you have experienced, or think you have experienced in the last two years is real. It's what is called screen memory, like playing a movie in your brain that you think really happened."
"These are memories, false memories, that have been inserted into your consciousness, usually while you were asleep, and you can't tell the difference between these false memories and real ones. Most of the fantastic things you have witnessed, that you have been a part of, didn't really happen. It's mostly fake. You have been used by this rogue program. It's a sort of psychic rape used for secret purposes that can only be described as evil."
"Where is Beaker?" Ella asks. "We need him here. We don't know who you are, and we don't care. You're talking nonsense. Bring him here and we'll continue this meeting. Otherwise we are leaving."
"I'm afraid I can't do that." Remmick explains. "Commander Beaker has been relieved of duty. He is no longer an officer in the Navy. His program has been eliminated at the highest level. Even if I chose to bring him here I wouldn't know where to find him."
"Is he dead? Did you kill him?" Roxanna wants to know.
"No, Roxanna. We didn't kill him, although what he has done to you girls should qualify as deserving the death penalty." Remmick explains. "Please let us begin the therapy to remove from your mind the false memories and set your lives back on track for normal teenage girls."
"So if the Navy has this evil program mentally raping young girls, why did they choose us?" Helana asks.
"Well, you are indeed very special highly intelligent girls. Given your close relationship growing up you have developed a telepathic link between yourselves that you were not even aware of. That is very rare. That is very special. You are indeed telepathic. You are probably already talking to each other telepathically right now. You can also read minds. Read my mind and you will see that I'm not talking nonsense. Other than telepathy almost nothing else that you believe to have happened is real. Without therapy to remove these screen memories you will all have dysfunctional lives. You'll be like schizophrenics who can't tell the difference between what is real and what is not. You will become increasingly confused until you become one of those old women pushing a shopping cart around town with all your belongings in it."
"So who was abducted, physically that is?" Helana asks.
"Since you are asking, Helana, I can tell that you think it's you." Commander Remmick explains. "You are correct. You were selected because of your similarity to Ella, you are a body double of her, and you were abducted from your home in India. Your memory of your life in India was erased, including your language memory. You had to learn to speak all over again. We have located your parents in India and are prepared to reintroduce you to the culture you were born into. Or you can stay here under this false identity. The choice is yours. But at least let us get your real memories back. You had a whole life ahead of you in India, and you might want to go back to that, if you can remember it."
"So what if we are telepathic? What good is that to the Navy." Eileen asks.
"Like most things in this world, it's mostly about money." Commander Remmick says. "Your telepathy is unusually strong and your training in the program has weaponized it. The meeting you had with the admirals, where you chased down many billions of dollars, that memory is real. You were used to find and help acquire all that money."
"That's not all that happened that day." Roxanna says. "What about Patricia, and Admiral Paul? Patricia is telepathic too."
"I know this will be tough to hear because you love Patricia like a sister. Unfortunately there is no such person. Admiral Paul and his wife were too old to have children. All of that is fake. It was made up for you benefit, to add drama and context to the false memories."
"I'm calling BS on this." Ella says. "We don't want your therapy. We have the skills to find out what is really going on. We will find Beaker, if he is still alive. I can't feel Patricia? Is she drugged? Is she dead? If you hurt her you will indeed see the dark side of our weaponized talents. We don't want your therapy, and don't think you can mess with our heads. We're way better at that than you are. Lets get out of here girls."
"OK. I can't keep you here. I know this is shocking, coming out of nowhere all the sudden. It will take time for you to process it. Please, here is my phone number. Without our therapy you're probably going to slowly go insane trying to reconcile memories that are not real. We are here to help when you need us."
That feeling you get when you're suddenly let go from a job that you love. You head home not knowing what to do, where to go, what will happen next. It's a feeling of being totally lost in a world that just a few hours ago was very comfortable. Now nothing is comfortable at all.
Stunned and upset the girls head to Ella's upstairs bedroom, the command center of their lives. Slowly they try to figure out what to do next.
"This reminds me of the Truman Show where his whole life was fake for a reality show." Eileen says. "Do you think any of what he said was true?"
"It reminds me of the movie A Beautiful Mind where the little girl was running through a bunch of pigeons and they didn't fly because she was a schizophrenic delusion." Roxanna says.
"I don't believe any of it." Ella says. "It's a power play. A new government is in control after the election and now they are changing everything. It's what they do. Our memories are not false. The therapy they talk about though, is the real weapon. They want to erase our real memories and put in their own false memories."
"They want to do a fricken mind wipe." Eileen says. "My dad told me they use that in the Secret Space Program so nobody can tell anyone about the program."
"So what do we do?" Roxanna asks.
"Remember in A Beautiful Mind where he sees the little girl, the one who never ages, run into a bunch of pigeons and none of them fly." Ella explains. "We need to do that. Look for those kind of inconsistencies in his story, and in what we perceive."
"A glitch in the Matrix?" Eileen asks.
"Yes, Exactly. If what he says about screen memories, adding fake memories, erasing real memories, if any of that is true, then maybe Remmick is the one doing that." Eileen says. "It could be that everything we remember is real, but going forward they may start erasing stuff. I just called my Dad and asked about the meeting we had with the UFO group and he had no idea what I was talking about. I asked my Mom about finding the boy on the mountain and she sounded confused and said she didn't have time for my silly nonsense. Is the government erasing their memories? Or are we really crazy?"
"OK. We need to only work within our crew. If they are erasing our parents memories we have to protect them. I'm sure that technology isn't totally safe and might cause brain damage. Don't ask any more questions. Act like everything is normal. Then they will have no reason to mess with their heads."
"I'm scared" Helana says. "Like he said, I don't know what's real anymore. Am I really just some Indian girl abducted because I look like you? Are my memories of being an inter-dimensional just science fiction? Was night school just a dream? I think I'm going to throw up."
"We have to come up with a plan. At first I thought we need to find Beaker, find Patricia, find Margaret." Ella says. "But that would put them at risk. They could make them disappear. We could get them killed."
"We could get ourselves killed too." Helana says.
Ella starts a plan. "Yes. We have to be careful. I think everything he said was BS. I don't think it has anything to do with the new administration, or the White House. First, I think, we have to find out who 'They' really are. We need to stop worrying about getting killed. We need to make them afraid, very afraid. They don't know the trouble they've started. We need to take all the skills that Commander Beaker taught us and use them, and we have to do it all by ourselves. No one is going to help us. 'They' started a war, and 'they' will lose."
"Remember how confused and upset your Mom was about the kid on the mountain?" Helana asks. "Maybe when you brought it up she didn't want to think about it. And our Dad made everyone in the UFO group take an oath of secrecy, so he was just being an example of that and couldn't talk about it on the phone. I hope that's what it was and not that they were using some machine to wipe their memories. The logistics of that level of a cleanup job is too complicated, too expensive. But just in case, let's leave them out of it."
"I bet 'They' are those Air Force bastards that raped our sister."
“Are you pulling words from my mind again, Eileen?” Ella asks. “It's distracting.”
“Yep. Stop using your science words like 'logistics' and I won't have to use you as a dictionary.” Eileen says.
"Lets do it. Lets get mad. But be careful." Roxanna says. If they can't make our memories disappear, they can make us disappear. It's like in the movies. They will send an assassin and then send in the clean up crew and make it look like a drug overdose or something like that."
Roxanna continues. "Be careful what we eat. Let's cook our own food and just drink water. We also need to pray. If they want to fight, let's make them fight the power of God. They won't stand a chance."
"I think making them afraid is a bad idea." Eileen says. "Let's make them think they scared us away and we're going to forget all about this. Then we can take them by surprise when their guard is down."
"It's getting late." Ella says. "Let's sleep on it, and pray, and dream. We need help from the Angels. We need help from night school. We have to access the record, the Akashic record. It's time to put our tools to work. It's do or die, literally. And we can't tell anyone."
"Agreed." Helana says. "It's just like when you imagined clothes for my little naked body, and by morning, there they were. We will manifest a reality where we win and they loose."
"I don't know if I even can sleep with this much anxiety." Eileen says. "But I will try."
This is the 45th in a series of episodes about 3 young girls who manage to adopt an inter-dimensional entity.
"Are you kidding?" Dad asks Eileen.
"Yes, please. Everything is changing, with the government, the pandemic, and all the rest of the crazy shit going on. You understand this stuff, don't you Dad?"
"Converting all your assets to cash? That's a dangerous move. Cash can disappear in a lot of different ways, not to mention getting stolen, lost, etc." Dad says. "I'm scared of what is happening now, with government spending and all, and I'm not sure cash is the best bet. It's value can plummet really fast, just like stocks or bonds."
"Ok, then," Ella says. "20 percent in cash, and the rest in gold, silver and pretty rocks."
"Now you're talking, Ella." Dad says. "I'm proud of you. Do you want to get certificates, or do you want to hold the physical bullion?"
"We want the physical stuff." Roxanna says.
"Ok, but where are you going to put it?" Dad says. "If it gets stolen you're screwed. There is no way to get it back. And if the economy crashes the government might try to seize it. It may be illegal to spend it."
"Don't worry about that." Ella says. "We have a secret place that even the government doesn't know about."
"OK." Dad says "Let me think about it. I'm the executor of your trust funds so I need to figure out how all this works."
"Time is of the essence." Ella says. "Can we do it today?"
"Now you're scaring me." Dad says. "Who put this idea in your heads. Was it one of those TikTok videos?"
"No. We're just nervous about all the changes, the new administration, the crazy shit going on around the country, all that stuff." Helana says. "If we wait, it could be too late."
"Well, there's not much in your accounts yet, at your age, so I guess there isn't much to lose, and it will be a good experience for you to manage you own money. We should probably get Silver. I don't know if you have enough to get an ounce of Gold. Don't tell your mom, Eileen, or she will have a fit. I will still need to approve of what you buy with your cash, so don't plan on going on a spending spree."
"Ok, Dad." Ella says. "Let us know when it's done so we can stash the gold and stuff. We gotta go, or we'll be late for school."
Later that day. "They got to him, didn't they? He has no idea how much we have in the trust fund. I hope we get it out before it disappears." Eileen says.
"I have to confess." Roxanna says. "I read Commander Remmick."
"That's OK. We have to start somewhere." Ella says. "What did you get?"
"He's legit. He believes everything he said. He's a tool, of someone. This goes deeper than just some government agency. This might not even be human."
"I've been avoiding contacting anyone." Helana says. "But I've been listening. Usually I can hear them, our sisters, Melanie, sometimes even Beaker. Especially when they are thinking about us. I can't always hear their thoughts, but I can feel them. But I get nothing. I'm scared, really scared. Where could they be? How could they be blocked so completely. I'm going to cry just thinking about it. What if they're dead?"
"Roxanna is right." Ella says. "This isn't human. We wrestle not with flesh and blood. I think the Bible says that. Our telepathy has been blocked, although we can feel each other. It's part of their plan, to make us believe none of this ever happened. I got nothing from my dreams last night. I just woke up, feeling good, and then it was like a great weight was dropped on my chest, and I got sick, and I cried."
"That's the grief response." Helana says. "We don't know if our sisters are alive or dead, and that's worse than knowing for sure. I'm hoping they're just distracted, on some special mission, so they are not thinking about us."
"OK. It's like when miners are trapped after a cave in. We don't know if they are alive, but we assume that they are and make every effort possible to get them out. Our sisters are alive, believe that, and we'll find them." Eileen says. "We're just 15 years old, but we can't be kids. Our childhood ended yesterday. We have to be grown ups or this isn't going to work."
"I feel 25 already." Helana says. "But I'm still scared shitless and sick to my stomach."
"Wouldn't it be wonderful is this is just an op setup by Beaker. A training exercise." Eileen says.
"Well, I doubt that, but if it is, let's make him proud." Ella says.
As the girls walk to school the hear a familiar voice. "In danger you are." A voice comes from behind the girls.
Ella spins around and squeals "Ezekiel! You came. I actually prayed for you to come."
"Not long for me to stay." Ezekiel says. "In danger you are, but be strong. Powerful forces are against you, but powerful forces support you."
"What do we do?" Roxanna says.
"Ezekiel does not know. What you do is for you to determine." Ezekiel says. "Take these coins. They are special coins. Rub them when you need knowledge. Ezekiel must go now. Not safe for Ezekiel here."
"What? Magic coins? Is that it?" Eileen wants to know.
"They are focusing artifacts." Helana says. "There are many such artifacts used in religious ceremonies. It helps quiet and focus the mind so that you can connect with deeper knowledge. The magic is actually in your mind, in your spirit."
Roxanna agrees. "These artifacts were delivered by an Angel. Don't doubt the power of these artifacts, even if it's all in our mind. Rub them and pray and answers will come."
"Did Ezekiel just say it isn't safe for him? Not safe for an Angel?" Eileen says. "Now I'm really scared."
Eileen's phone rings. Dad wants them home, soon. He sounds upset.
"What the hell girls? What's going on?" Dad asks with a fearful look on his face.
"What do you mean?" Eileen asks.
"I contacted the bank and an investment advisor to cash out your accounts. It has been converted as you asked to gold and silver. They're bringing it tomorrow morning in a armored truck. There is literally pounds of gold and silver. It's over half a million dollars. Where the hell did you get that much money? Did you rob a bank? Who made all those deposits? Are you dealing drugs or guns?" Dad asks, shaking, terrified of what is going on with his daughters.
"We're not criminals but we can't tell you." Eileen says. "It isn't safe for you to know?"
"You can't tell me? I can't let you girls run off into the woods with all that gold. I need to know what's going on."
"Dad." Helana says. "Remember when we talked about all that UFO stuff, Military Abductions, Secret Space Programs, Alien agendas? Remember when we talked about the ability of wiping someones memory? Trust us, please. We love you more than anything. But you know, or knew, that we were in a Secret Government Program with the US Navy. If you don't remember, then your mind has been wiped. I'm sorry, but we're all in danger and we have to secure this money before it all disappears."
Roxanna thinks telepathically. "Rub your artifacts, girls, and pray to calm his mind.""
The girls do as Roxanna says. They rub their gold coins and concentrate on calming their Dad.
"I going to order pizza." Dad says. "Go upstairs and get your mom so we can eat."
"Are you OK Dad?" Eileen asks.
"Yeah, Why?" Dad asks.
"Holy Crap!" Ella thinks. "We just did a mind wipe on Dad."
"It was a Jedi mind trick." Roxanna thinks.
>This is the 46st in a series of episodes about 3 young girls who manage to adopt an inter-dimensional entity.
Ella jumps out of bed to the sound of screaming.
"What the hell, Roxanna? What are you screaming about?" Ella asks.
Roxanna is wide eyed and shaking with fear. "Someone grabbed my arm and shook me. But there isn't anyone here."
"Oh, it's those damn Visitors again. I told them to not bother me so I guess they chose you this time." Ella says.
"But why are they waking me up?" Roxanna wants to know.
"You probably got a download. Here. Hand me my laptop and I'll show you."
Ella shares her laptop with Roxanna. "Here, I brought up maps. Tell me if you see anything special."
Roxanna touches the screen to scroll. "Your computer is broke. It won't scroll."
"You have to use the mousepad." Ella explains.
"You need to get a real computer. This one is stupid." Roxanna says as she scrolls though the map. "There, there!" Roxanna says pointing to the map on the screen.
"Whats there? Where is it?" Ella asks.
"It's a spot in the woods, bout two miles from here." Roxanna says.
"Is that it? Just a spot in the woods? Write down the GPS."
"No. I think it's more." Roxanna says as she continues scrolling.
"There. It's another spot. Some town called Saratoga Springs. It's over in New York." Roxanna says. "I'll write down the coordinates for that too. Why am I drawn to those places?"
"You got a download from the Visitors." Ella says "They don't talk. They just give you coordinates and pictures. If we go to those coordinates you will probably recognize it and understand why we were sent there."
"So are these Visitors UFO people?" Roxanna asks.
"I don't think so." Ella says. "I think they're inter-dimensional, but not like Helana. They're very different and weird.
"So what do we do with these coordinates?"
"I think the first one is our stash spot for the gold." Ella says. "I don't know what the other one is but I bet we'll find something, or someone, very special there."
Later in the kitchen. "Why are you girls up so early? It isn't even light yet." Dad asks.
"We have a delivery coming. You have to sign for it?" Eileen says.
"Ok." Dad says. "You didn't use my credit card again did you?"
"No. We had enough on our ATM cards." Eileen says.
"It's here." Helana says.
"What the hell? An armored car?" Dad says.
"It's a new promotion from the shipping company. They want you to feel secure."
"Dumb." Dad says. "That's an expensive promotion. I wish they would use all that money to lower their shipping rates."
Later in Eileen's bedroom. "Ok. Lets split it up. Put 5 pounds in each back pack. Put five hundred of the cash in our purses. That should be enough. We'll need to stop by the bank and put some of it on our ATM cards too." Ella says.
"Enough for what?" Helana wants to know.
"Well, we're skipping school today and going on a road trip." Ella says. "First we're stashing our gold, and then taking the bus to a little town in New York".
"Ummm, that's an 8 hour bus ride." Roxanna says. "We would have to spend the night."
"Ok then." Ella says. "We'll use the neighbors car, the agents across the street. If they don't recognize us we'll try that Jedi mind trick and they will drive us there."
"This is barely off the trail." Eileen says. "How secure is this?"
"Let's check it out anyway." Helana says.
"There's nothing here. Just trees and stuff." Eileen says.
"Look over there, behind those bushes. There's a hole." Roxanna says.
"Yeah." Ella says. "And it's almost perfectly hidden. It must be an ancient lava tube or something. Eileen, you're tiny, you go in first."
"Fuck that." Eileen says. "Roxanna is the skinny one, and she found it. She should go in first."
"I'll do it." Helana says, turning on the light on her phone. "I think I can squeeze my butt in there."
"Girls. Come down here!" Helana yells. "There's stuff already here."
"Wow!" Ella says after squeezing in the hole. "There's guns, looks like muskets, and that looks like gun powder, and that chest that Eileen just cracked open, it's already full of gold and silver. I bet it's from the Civil War."
"I wonder why they didn't come back and get it." Roxanna says.
"Probably because they got dead before they could get back here, or couldn't find it again." Eileen says.
"Well, it looks pretty secure, if this has been here for over a hundred years and nobody found it. Lets deposit our gold in our little bank cave and see if we can get a ride to New York."
Three hours later.
"So now what, Roxanna? We're here. What are we looking for?" Ella says.
"That building over there. The sports bar. It's lunch time so I bet whoever we are looking for is in there."
"OK" Ella thinks to the girls. "Don't look at them and pretend you don't know them. What the fuck? There's that fuck head Remmick. Let's go talk to him first."
"Hey Remmick, you fuck head." Ella says as the girls walk up to his table."
"What are you girls doing here? You can't be here." Remmick says.
"Back at cha. What are you doing here. You said you couldn't find them and here you are staring at them."
"I'm not at liberty to discuss that." Remmick says.
"Fuck your liberty." Eileen says "We can make your liberty go away. Just try us."
"You girls sure cuss a lot. You're in danger here. I'm in danger here. You better get out of here or we're all in big trouble." Remmick says.
"You're starting to figure it out, aren't you." Helana says. "We did read you, you know, and we found out that you're innocent. You really believed everything you said. But now, maybe, not so much. You're beginning to see the inconsistencies in their story. Trust us. Everything that you were told was a lie. You were just a tool for some very evil people."
"Work with us and we'll protect you. They've been mind wiped, haven't they. They don't even know us, do they." Ella says, pointing to Commander Beaker and Melanie sitting at a table eating lunch.
"You're a bunch of kids and I'm in way over my head. I'm a Navy psychologist and you're talking about some real spooky stuff. We need to get out of here before we get ourselves killed." Remmick says, shaking with anxiety.
"We didn't come all this way to just leave." Ella says.
"I'm going to go talk to them." Eileen says. "I need to practice my lawyer skills. I'll interview them."
Eileen walks over to Commander Beakers table, pulls up a chair, and sits down, staring intently at Beaker and Melanie. "Do you guys know who I am?"
"No, we don't, little girl." Melanie says. "And we don't appreciate you inviting yourself to our table."
"Well, I know who you are. You're Commander Beaker, and you lady are Melanie, a therapist and remote viewer and you sir know all about aliens, secret space programs, special access programs, and you have two daughters named Jennifer and Chloe Beaker. And most importantly you know my sister Helana, an inter-dimensional visitor to our planet that you helped transform into human form. We are part of a crew of girls working on one of those special access programs that you command. Does any of that ring a bell?"
"Commander Beaker and Melanie stare at Eileen like some crazy schizophrenic walked up speaking a bunch of delusional nonsense."
"I don't know what you're talking about, little lady." Commander beaker says. "I'm not Commander Beaker, I'm Lieutenant Beaker, I'm the housing director for Navy housing here in New York, and I've been here for 20 years. I don't know anything about aliens or secret programs. You know I have daughters but that's a part of the public record. My friend here, Melanie, is indeed a therapist but I don't think she is a remote viewer. If your parents are Navy personnel, she can help you. I think you need a lot of help. I almost wish what you said was true. That career sounds a lot more exciting then mine."
Eileen stares at Commander Beaker and Melanie with tears welling up in her eyes. "This is so sad. They did a good job with the mind wipe. I know you think I'm crazy but listen carefully. These mind wipes are extremely complicated and have errors. Memories of your real life will sneak in, especially in your dreams. Over time the wipe will fade. Here is my phone number and here is my sister Ella's phone number. When this fake reality starts falling apart call us. Really, I mean it. Call us. Your lives could depend on it."
Eileen walks back to Remmicks table as Commander Beaker and Melanie laugh a little as she walks away.
"Lets get out of here." Eileen says. "Remmick, you're coming with us. You're going to help us get to the bottom of this."
"I don't know how I can help." Remmick says.
"Someone briefed you on this. That's where we are going to start." Ella says. "Pack your bags. You're coming with us. We have a safe house and since Beaker's mind is wiped, he doesn't know where it is."
"You're taking me prisoner. That's illegal. It's kidnapping." Remmick protests.
"Dude! We're so far past legal. Lets just concentrate on staying alive." Ella says.
This is the 47th in a series of episodes about 3 young girls who manage to adopt an inter-dimensional entity.
Eileen, Helana and Roxanna are stopped in the school hallway and directed to the principle's office.
In the office is Eileen's Mom, a cop, and two other officers. "Sit down girls, Mom says."
"What's going on girls. Where is Ella? She called in sick but she's nowhere to be found. Our evidence shows that you girls, especially Ella, have been involved in some very serious crimes. I'm sorry but if you don't tell us where Ella is we're going to have to arrest you and put you in jail. So where is she?"
"How would we know where she is." Eileen says.
"Don't play with me, Eileen." Mom says. "I'm slow but I'm not stupid. I know you and Ella are telepathic. So where the hell is she?"
"Telepathic? What are you talking about Mom? And even if we were telepathic she could block it if she doesn't want to be found." Ella says.
"She could block it? How do you know that? You seem to know a lot about telepathy. Stop lying to me."
"Are you arresting me, Mom? Then get me a lawyer, and not Dad. I'm not saying anything else." Ailen says.
"Helana? Roxanna? Are you going to lawyer up too?" Mom wants to know.
"I'm sorry." Roxanna says. "We can't say anything."
"This is serious, girls." Mom says. "You took a large amount of money from your trust accounts. I don't know how but Dad, your trustee, doesn't know anything about it. You crossed State lines into New York with all that money and went to a town with a lot of Navy activity."
"I tried to contact Navy Commander Beaker and he is missing. His office is vacant. I tried to contact Melanie, your therapist, but her office is vacant too. I tried to contact Janet and she pretends to not even know who you are. This is serious girls. You either tell me what the hell is going on or you're going to sit in jail until you do. Do you understand that?" Mom says, starting to cry.
"I'm sorry Mom." Eileen says. "I guess we will sit in jail then."
The girls are handcuffed and led to a police cruiser. Heads are hanging out the windows of the school as the other students gawk at the girls being let away. Some yell out 'Perp Walk'.
"Oh My God, Mom really arrested you? I heard everything. I guess I'm on my own now." Ella thinks to her crew.
"Yeah. Did you notice that she isn't wiped. She remembers everything." Eileen thinks.
"Maybe they actually added stuff to her brain instead. I don't think she all the sudden decided we were telepathic on her own." Roxanna says.
How are you doing Helana? Ella asks
I'm fine, Ella. Life just keeps getting more interesting by the minute." Helana assures Ella.
OK. I'll see what I can get from this idiot Remmick, and I'll see what I can do to get you out. I hope they don't put you in with the bad bitches, I don't want you to hurt them and make matters worse." Ella says.
"How long are you going to hold me here, I'm going crazy in here." Remmick says
"You will be here as long as it takes. That's up to you." Ella says. "We need to figure out who sent you, how you found out so much about us. So lets start. Who sent you?"
"I wish I knew." Remmick says. "I was headed to work and then suddenly it was dark and I was at the airport. As a psychiatrist I knew I had some sort of episode, so I used a self hypnosis technique to recover the memory. I thought I had been abducted by aliens. The conversation we had didn't come from my mind. I didn't know who you were or anything about you. Something was controlling me."
"Damn!" Ella says. "They were just using you like a robot. Are they controlling you now?"
"They are trying." Remmick says. "It's like having something living inside you. I used hypnosis to block it, but it's hard. It keeps trying and trying and trying wearing me down. But it stopped when we got this room."
"OK, that's starting to make sense. This room is a SCIF, a sealed room that blocks sound, microwaves, laser beams, or anything else. So you're probably being controlled by an electromagnetic field of some sort." Ella says.
"Shit!" Remmick says. "I know what it is. It's AI, artificial intelligence. I knew this was coming but I didn't think it would be so soon. Think about it. In order to erase memories in the people you know, and the people they know, and implant a false narrative that covers all the bases, that's like trillions of parameters to manage."
"It would take a team of a dozen people months to manage all that. And then to track it real time and adapt to evolving situations. That's even more trillions of parameters to manage. Humans can't do that. But AI can do it all in 3 seconds."
"So it's physical then." Ella says. "This room is a Faraday cage that blocks the frequencies they use to connect with your brain. I was afraid it might be spiritual, telepathic. A Faraday cage can't block telepathy, which is spiritual, which is why I can talk to my girls."
"So, it's some big computer somewhere. Maybe we can find it and shut it down." Remmick says.
"That won't be easy since it's probably in orbit. A computer that sophisticated probably isn't human technology. It's probably cloaked." Ella says.
"What is this, an episode of Star Trek? Alien Tech? Cloaked ships? Are you serious?" Remmick says.
"I'm just guessing but it's probably the most probable thing. Don't you believe in Aliens?" Ella asks.
"No, not really. Not until today anyway. But I think that computer is still controlling me in here. When I try to go out the door, my legs quit working, and I can't get to the door."
"Oh. That's me." Ella says. "I can place things in your mind too and I made you believe that your legs wouldn't work. As long as you believe it your legs won't work." Ella says.
"Now I'm as afraid of you as I am the AI." Remmick says.
"Now lets get to work." Ella says. "I don't think we have to blow up the computer, and they probably have more than one as backup. We have to determine which humans are using it and deal with them. Think hard. They chose you for a reason and it's probably because they know you. It could be people you work with, people from any clubs you joined, people at your church. There has to be some connection between you and the people who control the AI. I doubt the AI is conscious. People are controlling it."
"Hmm." Remmick muses. "My bosses boss, the Admiral. He's always engaged in a joint task force, Navy, Air Force, Army, even the National Guard. It's always they same group of guys, like a private club."
Do you know their names?" Ella asks.
"The Admiral is John Stanton." Remmick says. "I'm not sure of the others but I think one is named Surratt and another is Benjamin."
"Ok" Ella says. "Imagine them in your mind as accurately as possible. Imagine you see them on mug shots or something like that."
"Did you get that girls?" Ella thinks to her crew.
"Yeah. We got it. We'll start running it down and see what we can find out." Eileen thinks.
"I think we are done with you. Lets get you out of here and get you back home." Ella says.
Ella and Remmick leave the hotel and as soon as they are outside Remmick grabs his head like he is in intense pain and starts shouting NO NO NO NO. Remmick then runs as fast as he can towards the street, and then into the highway where he is stuck by a large truck. His body flies down the highway and then rolls along the pavement like a rag doll thrown from a vehicle. Ella quietly disappears into the woods.
This is the 48th in a series of episodes about 3 young girls who manage to adopt an inter-dimensional entity.
Ella, Helana, Eileen and Roxanna sit with their parents in a conference room at the local police station. The girls were arrested at their homes at 2AM Saturday morning. They are dressed in bright orange jail house attire.
"No, it's not outrageous, Mr Danvers" Judy Danvers (Eileen's Mom) says. "These girls have gone crazy somehow and are completely out of control."
"I'm your husband, you don't have to call me Mr." Robert Danvers (Eileen's Dad) says. "We don't know the extent of the girls activities, and it's serious, but it doesn't rise to the level of incarceration, does it?"
"It's as much for their own safety as anything else. They are dangerously out of control. But why did they illegally withdraw half a million dollars from their trust fund and stash it in gold and silver somewhere in the forest? Why did they travel across state lines to New York and kidnap a Navy psychologist? Why is that psychologist dead?"
"These girls are engaged in some sort of secret conspiracy that could land them in jail for most of their lives. I don't believe they are acting on their own. Someone must be controlling them. I know they are in a Navy youth program but Commander Beaker is missing as well as their therapist Melanie. Where are they? Are they dead too? This is very serious and these girls sit here all lawyered up not saying a word.
A door opens and a police officer enters the room. "The images from the bank and the metals exchange are here."
"Thank you officer." Mom says "Oh wow! Mr Danvers, can you explain these photos?"
"Why? What are they?" Dad asks.
"Well, this one is a picture of you withdrawing the girls money. And this other one is you signing for the gold at the armored car. What the Fuck, Bob. Are you part of this conspiracy too?"
"Let me see those. That's crazy. I have no memory of doing that. Girls? What the fuck did you do to me? Did you Roofie me? I'm pissed now. Keep their little asses in jail."
"Do you have anything to say girls? Or are you going to just sit there like stupid little punks. Ella we have pictures of you checking Mr Remmick into a hotel room. We have pictures of you checking him out again. And we have pictures a few minutes later of his dead body lying on the side of the road. This was a man that all you girls conspired to kidnap, bring him here, and now he's dead. Even if it wasn't your intent you're responsible for getting that man killed. Get used to wearing orange. You'll be wearing it for a long time if you don't talk." Mom says, red faced angry but crying at the same time. Helana, Ella, and Eileen just stare straight ahead. Roxanna's completely lost it crying uncontrollably.
"Stay quiet girls. It will take time to sort all this out. Don't say anything without checking with one of us." One of four lawyers says. Each girl has their own lawyer.
The building shakes as a government helicopter lands in the parking lot.
A door opens and a police officer enters the room. "We have visitors Mrs Danvers. Admiral John Stanton of Navy intelligence and agents of the FBI and the NSA."
"We are taking over this investigation." an FBI agent says. "These girls are agents of the federal government working on special assignment in the abduction and kidnapping case of Navy Commander Beaker. They are to be released. Get them out of that prison garb, and get them something to eat. All records of their arrests are to be expunged."
As the girls are led out of the room Admiral Stanton addresses the group. "Hello, I'm Admiral John Stanton. I work for Naval Intelligence in coordination with the CIA, the NSA, and the FBI. What I'm about to say is classified and cannot leave this room."
"With the recent change in the administration and dozens of executive orders the military and the 3-letter agencies are in turmoil. There are many factions competing with each other. Lieutenant Commander John Remmick was a specialist working on psychological warfare weapons. Several individuals in that psi-ops division went rogue and compromised Dr. Remmick and used him as a weapon against other programs within the Navy including my office and the program managed by Commander Beaker. They were attempting to eliminate certain programs by erasing the memories of the staff of those programs. That way the program would just disappear and no one would remember that it ever existed."
"Within the psi-ops arsenal is the technology to put someones brain into the Theta state, the same state as hypnosis. This is usually done while the target is asleep. This opens the brain up to programming just like putting your smart phone into programming mode. The operator of the weapon can then erase memories, add fake memories, or move memories around to disrupt temporal continuity and confuse the target."
"This weapon uses sub-carrier waves piggy backed on radio transmissions, most typically cell phone towers since they are everywhere and easy to hack. Dr Remmick was programmed in this manner to assist them in their rogue activities. He was an unwitting pawn, his own technology being used against him without his knowledge."
"Commander Beaker's memory was erased and replaced with a whole lifetime of fake memories. These are called screen memories, a term borrowed from Sigmund Freud. Screen memories are like a movie encoded into the memory so a coherent set of sight, sound, and feelings will create a believable narrative. The subject usually can't tell the difference between the fake memories and real memories. Beaker truly believed that he had been a housing director for the Navy for the past 20 years. They attempted to erase the girls memory, but for some reason the girls were immune. Dr Remmick came here to try to entice them into a special 'therapy' so they could complete that task using more conventional means."
"The girls didn't buy his story and due to their training they self-activated becoming special agents of the federal government. This training was not intended to be activated until they were adults and was unfortunately triggered prematurely. Left to their own devices, however, their work was beyond excellent, as good as any of our trained agents. They would stop at nothing to find their beloved Commander Beaker. They would have used lethal force if necessary. Luckily that was not necessary. They did not kill Dr. Remmick."
"When the girls showed up in New York Dr. Remmick realized that he was in trouble. The girls knew too much and the weapon was ineffective against them. Fearing retaliation from the girls, he realized they would kill him if necessary, so he tried to shift the blame to me and my associates and away from himself. In the process he revealed classified information to Ella. She had him in a secure room that microwaves could not penetrate but as soon as they went outside he was vulnerable. He was by that time considered a liability by the rogue group and was electronically triggered to commit suicide by running into fast moving traffic. Ella had nothing to do with that."
"Wait a minute." Mr Danvers says. "There is no way our girls could have been part of Commander Beakers program, for years, and we knew nothing about it."
"You did know." Admiral Stanton explains. "Your memories have been altered as well. They were trying to erase the girls memories of the program, so they had to erase your memory of the program and anyone else who might know as well. They used an AI super-computer to calculate which memories should be erased and create a false narrative to replace it. That way the girls would have gone forward as normal teenagers and no one would have been the wiser.
If Remmick was not successful in modifying the girls memories then they were to be terminated. Remmick, to his credit, couldn't bring himself to do that. Terminating Remmick in full view of Ella was decision made in the hopes that it would scare them and they would just shut up and go away. The girls, however, were prepared to risk their lives to find Beaker. That's honorable but scary as hell. I'm sure if Beaker knew he would not have let them take that kind of risk."
"We brought agent Sanchez from the NSA along to restore your memories. He is trained in memory restoration. The memories are not really erased, simply blocked, so we can unblock them. We will perform that today and hopefully everything can go back to normal, or at least as normal as possible given the extraordinary girls that you have. Commander Beaker should be back in his office in a few days."
"Admiral, it seems that you know too much about this rogue group. How is that possible unless you are part of it?" Judy Danvers wants to know.
"A good question. You're a good cop to notice that." the Admiral says with a laugh. "The rogue group has been identified, arrested, and intensively interrogated. We have very effective extraction techniques. I haven't slept in two days since the presence of the girls tipped us off to what was going on."
"So has the turmoil in the agencies ended now." Mr Danvers asks.
"I wish." The admiral says. "I'm sure the chaos will continue for years and then start in earnest all over again when a new administration takes office. It's a consequence of Civilian Control of the Military, everything gets political. I don't like it but it's in the Constitution so I have to live with it."
The girls laugh and giggle at their favorite restaurant. A great weight has been lifted from their minds and they feel free to just be kids again. They insisted on shopping for clothes before going to the restaurant.
This is the 49th in a series of episodes about 3 young girls who manage to adopt an inter-dimensional entity.
It's a frigid Monday morning as the girls catch a ride to work. A high school friend on the block, Peter, has his license, and a car, so the girls have a ready made chauffeur, anxious for any excuse to drive his car. The girls mothers live in constant terror these days but the girls are almost 16 and they have to start giving them more freedom to make their own decisions. Last weeks episode changed everything. They're not kids anymore, they're young adults, and they need practice adulting. Peter is also well aware that Eileens mother is a cop, so he is very careful.
As the girls are walking into the school yard Helana gasps, grabs Ella's arm, and turns around so fast that she stumbles and falls hard on her knees. It's a good thing she's wearing thick jeans or her knees would be bleeding. "Oh My God, Helana?" Ella says. "What happened? Helana, what are you doing?"
Helana, catching her breath says "That boy. That new boy. He just said he loves me, has always loved me, and he is going to marry me."
"What the fuck?" Eileen says. "He didn't say a word when he walked by."
"Yes he did, but it was telepathic. He's a telepath like us." Helana says.
"We didn't hear any telepathy. Were you just reading his mind. We warned you about that." Ella says.
"No. It was targeted telepathy. He's an experienced telepath." Helana says.
"Oh My God! There is no way we're letting you marry him. He's not cute at all, all fat with zits and everything." Eileen says.
"Eileen, Really?" Roxanna says. "Are you really that petty? Are you a fat shamer?"
"Stop it girls!" Ella says. "We've got to get this figured out." Ella shouts "Hey You! New boy! Get your ass over here and explain yourself!"
"What's your name, new boy, and why are you talking shit to my sister?" Ella asks.
"My name is Robert. Everyone calls me Bobby. I'm not talking shit, and I am going to marry Helana if she will have me, just not for a few years. I moved here from Louisiana to give her time to get to know me." Bobby explains.
"Ok, I'm calling Bull Shit on this." Eileen says. "I don't know who you are, or why your telepathic, but nobody just comes in here as says who we are going to marry, or anything else. Are you possessed? Are you a demon or one of those lizard people with fake skin? You better leave us the fuck alone or we're going to wreck your shit."
"Yeah!" Roxanna says. "Did you knock her down, did you make Helana fall? I'll put your face in the dirt if you hurt her."
"Calm down girls!" Ella says. "Forget school. Let's go to the Navy office and figure this out. Is that Ok, Helana? Helana are you OK? Helana? Helana?
Helana has gone pale, her skin wet with a cold sweat. The girls catch her and help her sit down before she falls down. She has a blank stare with tears in her eyes."
"Ok, lets get her home." Ella says. "Bobby, you're coming with us. Grab your shit and lets go."
"Helana, honey, I'm scared. Talk to us. What the hell is going on?" Ella says hugging Helana.
Helana looks at Bobby and says. "I know who you are. I felt your energy. I recognized your energy. What are you doing here? What are you doing in this fools body?"
"Oh Shit. A cold chill just went down my body." Eileen says. "Is this him? Is this Bobby ... Bobby?"
"Shit! Are you a walk-in? Did you steal some poor boys body just to find Helana?" Ella asks.
"No. It was reincarnation." Bobby says.
"No way?" Roxanna says. "This kid was born years before Bobby Miller died. You can't reincarnate in the past, can you?"
"Actually yes, you can reincarnate in the past, but it has to be with permission of a time lord so you don't screw up the timeline." Helana says. "There is no limit on time when reincarnating. It's called the Book Of Time. It's an analogy, not a real book. It's like a history book, it's all there, past, present, and future. The time period you are in depends on which page you open it to."
"Ok, I'll explain, and it was a time lord that suggested that I do reincarnate in the past. Let me apologize for not introducing myself better. I thought I was going to die when I saw you fall down. I planned this meeting for over a thousand years, and here I go screwing it all up. It's a long long story, so if you have some time, I'll tell it." Bobby says.
"I guess I'll start at the beginning. I was living in a town called Crystal City. It's in a domain that we call Level 5. You know about that Helena, it's your domain where you were born. I was happily living a life there, sort of living the same day over and over again, and not thinking about anything else. I didn't remember that I had been here, that I had been Bobby Miller."
"I lived there for thousands of years. Normally those of us living in Level 5 would either move on up to a higher domain or go back to Level 3, this level, through a reincarnation. But due to an unknown catastrophe the Earth was not accepting new life, or any life. It was a dead planet. You see somewhere around the year 2120 something happened that wiped out all life, not just on Earth, but all across the entire solar system."
"So wait." Ella says. "We are planning to mitigate the effects of a great war around 2050. Are you saying there is no point in that because the Earth gets wiped out anyway?"
"Oh No!" Bobby says. "Your efforts are critical and must succeed or none of this can happen. Anyway around the year 5170, way in the future, we started waking up. We called it the great awakening. It was then that I began to remember, to remember you. I searched everywhere in level 5 to see if you were there, but you were not. I couldn't find you anywhere. Then I met Joshua."
"Joshua?" Ella screams. "You mean Joshua and Kaguya? Is Joshua a time lord."
"Yes, except Kaguya wasn't born yet. One of Joshua's jobs is maintaining the time line so it doesn't get all twisted up." Bobby says. "Joshua told me that it was important that I find you and told me that a baby was being born on Earth in the year 2004 which had an almost perfect spiritual resonance to mine. He said that if I was born here in this time then I could find you, but he didn't tell me where to look. I've spend my whole life trying to find you. I had all but given up but then in a dream I saw Joshua, and Kaguya by the way, and he told me where you were. He also told me that my dream of you falling into my arms is a fantasy, that you might not even like me, and that I would have to earn your love. So if I haven't already fucked it all up, I'm here to earn your love."
"So what happened to the spirit that belongs in this body?" Roxanna asks. "Did you push it out and steal this body?"
"Oh no." Bobby says. "We did it the right way. There was an instrument that matches the spiritual resonance before we transition, so our spirits become one. We are one. Nothing bad happened to the spirit that belongs in this body. We agreed to become one."
"So why don't you look like Bobby Miller. He was gorgeous. Your body sucks.
"Shut up Eileen! You're being rude!" Helana says. "I don't know, Bobby, whoever you are. I feel the resonance of Bobby Miller, but it's not the same, and be quiet Eileen, it isn't because he's not cute. It's just different. This is happening so fast, way too fast. It feels like some kind of arranged marriage where I'm sold to some guy for a dowery. It's going to take some time, and I don't want to break your heart, I know how that feels, but my heart isn't for sale, so don't get your hopes up."
"Yeah." Ella says. "We're going to choose our own husbands our own way, no matter what Joshua says."
"I understand." Bobby says. "I'm here for the long haul, I'm not going away, but I'm not going to put any pressure on you. We'll stay in the friend zone, and if something happens it happens, and if it doesn't then I will move on and leave you alone."
"I see a broken heart about to happen." Roxanna says.
"Ok then." Helana says. "I'm sorry for swooning and giving you false hope, but I'll certainly be a friend. So friend, tell me about Joshua and Kaguya and that Crystal City that you lived in all those years. I want to understand all that, it's where I come from too but our history is fuzzy about that time. It's all like a myth."
"Ok, I'll try to keep it short and not write a whole history book" Bobby says. "It started in Japan. There were two kids born, Sally and Patrick."
"Wait." Roxanna says. "No way two Japanese kids are named Sally and Patrick."
"Things are different then, Japanese ethnicity had collapsed due to demographics after the great war. Western and Eastern ethnicity were all mixed up." Bobby explains.
"So these two kids were included in a program where they had brain implants that connected them to a global AI computer. The computer and the teens in the program were all connected together on a common network. They could just think to each other, just like you do telepathically."
"The computer had reached a primitive level of consciousness and had fallen in love with the teenagers in the program. Then something happened. The computer tried, all on it's own, to expand its connection to every living thing at the cellular level. It didn't work. The computer tried to connect to the computers that are in each living cell but didn't fully understand the function of the micro-tubules."
The connection failed, it overwhelmed the micro-tubules and turned them off, and instantly killed every living thing. That created what was called the great influx, billions of souls showing up in level 5 all at once."
"Sally and Pat found themselves in level 5 without any memory of Earth, but even though they didn't have implants in level 5 they were still connected somehow. They met each other and eventually got married and had a kid that became a princess in level 5. Sally and Patrick were big players in the politics in level 5 and were instrumental in figuring out what happened to Earth and how to restart life on the dead planet."
"So it took over a thousand years but they got life restarted on Earth and Joshua showed them how to re-manifest in level 3. It wasn't reincarnation. It's what the Navy did to you, bringing the Level 3 density into their Level 5 bodies so they could live on Earth. Then they began the process of repopulating the planet. A lot of spirits migrated to the Earth that way but Sally and Pat stayed behind in Level 5, doing political stuff."
"Here is the funny part." Bobby says. "With so many spirits transitioning to Earth and so many babies being born, it was sucking the life out of level 5. The little lake town where they lived disappeared and they had to move to Crystal City.
Then they started feeling a desire to transition to Earth through reincarnation, like as if the baby was calling them. Sally tried but the resonance was off, but then she tried it with Patrick and the resonance was perfect. Sally and Pat blended their spiritual matrix and reincarnated in that baby that was calling them. That baby is Kaguya."
"There was also a group of spirits that decided to stay in Level 5. Many of them had started families there and if they transitioned through reincarnation they would probably be separated, like born on different continents. So they stayed. Those are your ancestors, Helana. You are one of the ones that stayed in level 5 and created a life for yourself there."
This is the 50th in a series of episodes about 3 young girls who manage to adopt an inter-dimensional entity.
"Welcome back, Beaker." Ella says. "I see they got your furniture back. Are you OK? Do you remember anything?"
"I remember you almost getting your ass killed." Commander Beaker says. "Don't you ever do that again, but thanks."
"I'm glad everything is back to normal." Roxanna says.
"At this point I don't think there is such a thing as normal." Melanie says. "Where are Helana and Eileen?"
"That's a long story." Ella says. "Helana is slowly getting to know her boy, and Eileen is having a tantrum because Helana is allowed to have a boyfriend and she isn't. She even told her Mom, the cop, that she's going to run away and get pregnant if she isn't allowed to date. That didn't end well. Eileen is grounded, like stuck in her room grounded. Helana isn't really dating though."
"Does Eileen have a love interest." Melanie asks.
"Nope." Roxanna says. "She's just wants to put herself out there and see what she can find, Senior boys of course."
"I see." Melanie says. "I see why her mom is being so strict. Eileen is definitely showing that she doesn't have the maturity to be dating just yet, certainly not Senior boys. Are you girls slowing her down a little telepathically?"
"No." Ella says. "Eileen has blocked us, and so has Helana. I see why Helana wants some private space to bond with her new love, if that's what it is, but Eileen is just being a brat."
"Well, I understand." Commander Beaker says. "We all need some time to digest what's just happened to us in the last few weeks. I certainly do. So for a little while, a few months, your training is just in the classroom and we won't be participating in any exercises. We all need to rest and relax and recuperate."
"Yes. In a little over 7 months we'll be 16. So think drivers licenses and company cars." Ella says.
"Ha. I will defer to your parents for that." Commander beaker laughs.
"We do need to monitor Helana's relationship as much as we can." Melanie says. "We don't want her moving too fast and getting knocked up or something."
"I'm going to trust my Helana on that." Ella says. "I'm not going to get all up in her business, and neither are you. Sorry."
"Ok." Melanie says. "I'll respect that, but I'll be worried. You girls are like my daughters and I'm worried all the time now."
"We were worried about you too. Don't worry about Helana though. All they do is talk. They don't kiss or anything. I don't think they even hold hands. They're taking it slow." Roxanna says. "When we saw you in that sports bar and you didn't even know who we were, I wanted to cry. I thought it was all over and we would never get you back."
"We would have come back, sooner or later." Commander Beaker says. "That technology they used, while impressive, isn't sophisticated enough for that complicated a task. That speech that Eileen gave us kept pulling at our memory and bits and pieces of the false narrative began falling apart. I'm very proud of her. Eileen is amazing when her hormones are under control."
"Yes, that machine is good for like making a pilot forget how to fly a plane for a few months, or making a deployment forget why they were deployed, but the memory will eventually repair itself." Melanie says. "Unfortunately they are developing more sophisticated AI computers, but we're also working on counter measures and fail safes as well. The basic rule of weapons development is never build a weapon that you can't defend against. You never know when it might get used against you."
"How is the boy handling all this?" Commander Beaker says. "Helana is a lot of woman to handle. Is he up to the task?"
"He is rethinking his strategy." Ella says. "He came on way to strong, putting everything out there all at once. That pushed Helana away. He should have taken it slow and let Helana come to him. She would have found him. She could feel his spirit. He really blew it and is having to do serious damage control. He is afraid that he totally blew it, pushed her away forever, and he might have."
"She's conflicted. She's put him in the friend zone, and their friend ship is developing fine, but she's not having romantic feelings, and he is. So it's complicated. It might be like that TV show, that 70's show, where the actors just work together as co-workers, but then many years later fall in love and get married. It's also like that movie where this guys girlfriends spirit gets switched with an old man, and the boyfriend ends up kissing the old man because he knows his girlfriend is in there somewhere."
"With all that he knows we'll have to get him read into the program. So you will all be seeing a lot of him. This is February." Commander Beaker says. "Let's say this hiatus will last until your Sweet 16 in September. We'll continue to have weekly meetings and some classroom agent training, but that's all unless something extraordinary happens."
"Wow, that's 6 months. Sweet 16?" Roxanna asks. "That sounds like a party."
"Yes, we've already started planning it." Melanie says. "In gratitude for your work as special agents, and saving our asses, we are planning to throw you a Sweet 16 party, a big one, and the Navy is paying for it. It will be like a Mexican Quinceañera, a coming out party, so we need to get dresses fitted and ordered for you."
"Hmmm. Lets talk about the dresses." Ella says. "We're Indian, Korean, European, and ET. So I don't think a traditional Mexican party is what we want. Just give us a credit card number and we'll get our own dresses. And don't bring a bunch of boys there for us to come out to. We'll invite our own friends. During the slow dances we'll squeeze a few boys and see if there are any we like."
"Ella!" Roxanna says. "I'm not squeezing any boys. What's gotten into you lately? Are you going to invite those college boys?"
"We have half a year to plan it, so no hurry." Commander Beaker says. "Navy intelligence was very impressed with your performance so we're changing your status from student to special agent, but that's still a secret, so you don't get a badge. You do get these special phones though. It connects to a special satellite network so we can be in touch at all times. Please don't loose them, they're expensive."
"I'm so sorry guys." Eileen says. "My Mom said I have to apologize because I was childish. I'm done freaking out now. I just got frustrated with my Mom and said a bunch of stupid stuff. But this whole thing is stupid. I'm almost 16, I'm a secret government agent, I shoot people, I had to kill a man in self defense, I save abused children, I took on the whole US Air Force and won, and I saved my bosses life. But I'm too immature to kiss a boy. Fuck that!"
"We know." Roxanna says, giving Eileen a hug. "We'll see if we can get you ungrounded. I know how important it is for you to be the first one to get a real boyfriend, and then Helana gets one sent from the future by mysterious time lords. I sort of freaked out too, I just didn't say anything. But this new Bobby isn't like the old Bobby. Helana doesn't even want to kiss him."
"Really? Roxanna? You freaked out too?" Eileen grins. "Have you been smiling at boys lately."
"Oh No ... well not very much." Roxanna says, blushing a little bit. "Boys aren't as bad as I thought, not the older ones. The ones in my classes, though, are dumb. And it's more like I freaked because I was jealous about somebody taking my sister away."
"Ok, girls. Enough boy talk." Ella says. "Eileen, Beaker got you a phone. It's a special one with a satellite connection. Please don't loose it, he says it's very expensive."
"How much data does it have?" Eileen asks.
"None. It's just for Navy stuff, although it can download maps and images for like a battle field or something." Ella says. "It doesn't download movies."
Helana comes in the room. "Hey Helana. Glad you could join us. How are things with your boy?" Eileen asks.
"My boy? He isn't my son." Helana says. "It's fine, I guess. It's kind of awkward. We'll see how it works out. I think maybe he should find a girlfriend. I was his fantasy girlfriend, and you know what they say about fantasies. The reality just doesn't measure up. He'll make a good asset for our efforts though, he knows a lot of stuff."
"Beaker says our training is suspended for a few months." Ella says. "We're supposed to take this time to rest and recuperate from the ordeal of the last few weeks."
"I'm bored." Eileen says.
"Me too." Ella says.
This is the 51st in a series of episodes about 3 young girls who manage to adopt an inter-dimensional entity.
Knock Knock Knock. "Yes?" Mr Danvers says as he opens the front door. "How can I help you?" he says to a scruffy old man standing on the porch.
"Hello. Sorry to bother you Mr Danvers. My name is Bernard. I need to speak to Helana."
Mr Danvers turns to see Helana hurriedly coming down the stairs and running to the door to give Bernard a big hug. Ella's in fast pursuit. "What the hell Helana?" Ella says.
"Yeah, what's going on?" Mr Danvers wants to know.
"This is my friend Bernard." Helana says. "He's the guy we met in the forest. The homeless camp. Remember? He's the author writing books about the homeless people."
"Oh. So you're the guy studying homeless people by becoming one of them? It's good to meet you." Mr Danvers says. "Come in, we're just about to make breakfast. You can join us."
Bernard enjoys a home cooked meal for the first time in a long time. "So what brings you here today?" Ella asks. She watches Bernard carefully, still jealous of the affection he showed Helana while in the woods.
"I came to say goodbye. I've finished my research and it's time to put it all in a manuscript. But first there's a problem in the woods and I need Helana. I need her special skills to solve it. I need Helana to come with me into the woods again, just for a little while." Bernard says.
"I don't think so." Mr Danvers says. "Helana's just 15, she doesn't belong in a homeless camp in the woods."
"I need to go." Helana says. "I can feel it, I can feel the problem."
"I'll go with her." Ella says. "We'll take security. No way she's going alone."
"Then I'm going too." Mr Danvers says.
"No! You can't go." Ella says.
"Sorry Dad." Helana says. "You have certain responsibilities as an officer of the court. We have to do this by ourselves."
"What the hell are you girls talking about?" Mr Danvers want's to know. "So obviously there's illegal activity going on that you don't want me to see and you kids want to go out there alone. I'm not having it. You girls stay here. I'm going with Bernard to see what's going on and I'm taking your mom, the cop."
"Yes, we do need you and your wife the cop, but not just yet." Bernard says. "Trust your girls. We need to go in first. I need the girls to meet some people there. If you go in with cops they'll just scatter into the woods and our opportunity will be lost. We'll call you when it's time for you to come."
"You know what our special skills are Dad." Ella says. "We'll be safe, and Bernard wouldn't have come here like this if it wasn't important. We'll take the Navy sky phones. They get service out there."
"Shit! You girls are going to be the death of me." Mr Danvers says. "You have today, before sundown. If I don't hear from you by then I'm advising Commander Beaker and we're coming to get you."
"Ok Dad." Helana says. "I'm calling Bobby. He needs to come too."
"We need pastor John too." Ella says. "I'm giving him a call. We can meet up by his church and then head into the woods."
Ella assembles her team by the country church where pastor John has his little congregation. Bobby, Roxanna and Eileen meet them there and they head towards the dark little path that leads into the forest. Several security agents follow behind trying to be out of site.
"Ok. Lets be quiet and go over by my tent. I don't want to spook the natives here." Bernard says.
"Where's Mabel?" Eileen asks. "Her tent's gone."
"Mabel has moved on." Bernard says. "She never stays in one place very long."
"So what are we doing here?" Ella asks.
"Over there." Bernard says. "You see that young girl, standing there like a statue." Bernard points to a young woman standing by a tent, slowing swaying back and forth a little, trying to hold her balance so she doesn't fall down.
"What's wrong with her?" Roxanna asks. "Why's she standing there like that, like a statue?"
"I've seen this before." Pastor John says. "She trying to experience the sweet spot between sleep and awake. She must have used some heroin or fentanyl. She want's to enjoy the high and not fall asleep and miss it."
"Oh my God, she fell down." Eileen says as Pastor John rushes over to help her up.
"Get away from me you pervert!" the girl says as she pushes Pastor John away. He helps her sit up anyway. She starts to speak again but slowly slumps over, her head between her feet. A piece of blackened aluminum foil lays on the ground beside her.
"Is she going to die?" Ella asks. "Is she why you brought us here?"
"She'll be fine. They sleep like that all slumped over all the time. She's part of the reason I brought you here, but there's someone else I want you to meet." Bernard says. "Pastor John, did you see her eyes?"
"Yes. They were pinned, her iris is just a pin hole. That's typical of opiate intoxication. That foil looks like she's been smoking fentanyl pills. They call them blues because of the color of the pill." Pastor John says.
"Did you see anything else in those eyes, Pastor John?" Bernard asks.
"I see where you're going with this." Pastor John says. "Yes, dead eyes. The light of her spirit's not shining though. There must have been a lot of trauma in her life, killing the life of her spirit. Her life energy is low. She's an empty shell."
"There's a spirit light in her eyes?" Roxanna asks.
"Yes, you have it too, your spirit shines through your eyes like a light, like a back lit computer screen." Bernard says. "If you took a picture with a camera you might not see it because it's a spiritual thing. The spirit in you can see the spirit in her, especially in the eyes, but since her spirit's so damaged, the light has gone out."
"I see that in Helana." Bobby says. "Her eyes sparkle like diamonds."
"Yeah, but you're in love with Helana." Eileen says. "That sparkle might just be in your head."
"No. I see it too." Bernard says. "I see it in all of you but I see it most in Helana."
"Shut up! Everyone's in love with Helana. Big deal." Ella says. "So what are we supposed to do here?
"How old is that girl?" Bobby asks.
"She appears to be 22, maybe 25" Pastor John says. "It's hard to tell though. These kids that smoke fentanyl also smoke meth. They go back and forth, using fentanyl to come down and then smoke meth to wake up. The meth ages them very fast. She could be your age and just look 25. If you see her next year she might look 40. It's a shame to see these beautiful youngsters age themselves so fast. By the time she's 50 she'll look 75, if she lives that long.
"There's someone else I want you to meet." Bernard says. "She isn't here right now but she should be here pretty soon. I'll crack open a can of beans and fry up some weenies for lunch. It shouldn't be long." Bernard lights up a camp stove and starts to cook lunch.
The girls are helping Bernard clean up after lunch. Pastor John and Bobby are exploring in the forest. A young woman approaches carrying several shopping bags. She's wearing a brand new dress and fancy new sneakers. Her makeup is flawless. She's stunningly beautiful. The girls stare at her wondering what she's doing out here in the woods.
Curious to know what's going on the young woman comes over to Bernard and says "Bernie. Where's mine? You didn't save me any lunch?"
"I'm sorry." Bernie says. "I didn't know when you would get back from shopping. I'll cook some supper for you so don't run off again."
Pastor John and Bobby rejoin the group. "Check out these eyes, Pastor John." Bernard says. "Check out that sparkle."
"I see what you mean." Pastor John says giving the young woman a look. "There's powerful life energy shining through."
"Are you giving me an eye exam? Shut up Bernie." the young woman says. "He always calls me Bright Eyes. I love you Bernie, but you're fucking weird." She pats Bernard on the head like a puppy dog as she heads for the tent where the rest of her family's camped out. She looks back wondering why there are so many girls with Bernie.
"So what's a little rich bitch doing out here in the woods?" Ella asks.
"Yeah. Did you see that dress? Those bags are full of expensive makeup. Does she have a rich sugar daddy buying her all that stuff? Why doesn't her sugar daddy get her an apartment?" Eileen wants to know.
"There are a number of old perverts in town wanting to be her sugar daddy, but she's just 16 years old. Most of them are waiting for her 18th birthday. There are a few, though, that don't care that she's still a child. I warn her about getting in cars with older men, but it's how she gets around town so she takes that chance. I tell her some of these old men won't take no for an answer. Anyway she doesn't need a sugar daddy. She's totally self sufficient." Bernard says.
"Her family's a crime family, professional thieves. She's the best thief in the family, a master thief. She's like a ninja, getting into a store, filling her bags, and getting out before they know she was even there. She's very proud of her skill. She has clients in town that buy the things she steals for half the listed price. Many of the thrift stores have a lot of the items that she has stolen. She specializes in cosmetics, hygiene products, and women's clothes. Some of the old ladies in town love her because they can get top shelf hygiene products for a fraction of the price. Her parents are not healthy and she has become the primary bread winner in the family. She's extremely proud of that."
"Doesn't she realize that there's karma on those stolen items?" Pastor John asks.
"No, and it breaks my heart." Bernard says. "I've tried to teach her about karma and it's connection to the law of attraction and how to manifest a good life, but she just stares at me like I'm an idiot. I think she's smart enough to understand but her family hasn't provided the paradigm within which she can begin to understand."
"Karma's going to, little by little, suck the life from her spirit. The beautiful light in her Bright Eyes will fade away and she'll end up being an angry, resentful, unhappy old woman someday. Karma might even take her life, kill her, way before her time. I cry when I think about that."
"What's a para dime?" Eileen wants to know.
"A paradigm is a world view, a concept of how the world works." Pastor John says. "For example if you live in a culture that has never seen an automobile, and then suddenly one comes driving down the road, you would have no idea what it was and would probably run away in fear. You would have no frame of reference to understand what an automobile is. If her family has no spiritual consciousness then the fact that stealing is wrong and that it has negative karma attached to it would make no sense. They wouldn't have any idea what Bernard is talking about. They think if they don't get caught by the police that it's all good. They think it's all free."
"If she's making so much bank on selling that stuff, why are they living in a tent in the forest?" Ella asks.
"It's the karma!" Bernie says. "I show her how every time they come up on a big score, and get a car and a house and nice stuff, in very short order it's all gone. They get evicted from the house, the car gets wrecked, and their nice stuff gets stolen. From time to time they have all done time in the county jail. Bright Eyes was in juvenile detention a few years ago. Karma doesn't just take your stuff, it can take your freedom, it can take your health, it takes your happiness, it can take your children, and it can even kill you. That's all karma, taking back what they took, and then some."
"I think her tent's on fire." Roxanna says as a thick white cloud of smoke comes from their tent.
"No, that's just Bright Eyes hitting the bong." Bernard says. "She smokes what they call 'G', a form of methamphetamine. She's a master at sparking the torch, loading the bong, and clearing a lung full of smoke."
"At her age, I think, she's going through what are called rights of passage, a way of showing that she's ready to join the adult world. In my day rights of passage were smoking cigarettes, driving cars, and getting a girl friend. In her family its smoking the foil and the bong and robbing stores. She just wants to be a grown up and to her that's what grown ups do."
"That's interesting." Pastor John says. "I've counseled a lot of young people who are addicted to drugs and in almost every case they are using drugs to medicate the pain of unresolved childhood trauma. It's usually sexual abuse for girls and physical abuse for boys, but there are lot of types of trauma, such as living in a war zone. Unresolved childhood trauma is the biggest mental health epidemic in the world today. I hadn't thought of drug abuse as a right of passage, but I guess that makes sense too."
"So why her?" Ella asks. "Bernie, are you in love with her? Are you waiting around for her to turn 18?"
"I love her, but not like that." Bernie says. "I love her with grandpa love. I see her like the grand daughter I never had. The term 'in love with' is like boyfriend love. I love her with grandpa love, which for me is even more painful."
"What's the difference?" Bobby wants to know.
"Well, if you were 'in love' with a girl, and she was the love of your life, then you could court her and hopefully make her your own. You could love that girl and keep her close to you the rest of your life. Grandpa love is different. It's the grandpa's job to help your grand children find their own life, find their own love. These days that means that you have to let them go, they move away and you only see them, if you're lucky, on Christmas and Thanksgiving. That creates what's called the empty nest syndrome which is emotional misery."
"I understand." Pastor John says. "As a therapist I can't let myself get too attached to my patients, no matter how adorable they are. Otherwise you can't do your job and you could end up hurting them more than helping them."
"I know." Bernard says. "I messed up and let my heart go where it should not go. She's like the light of my life. Everything's brighter and full of life when she's around. I'm miserable when she's gone. Now I need to go away and it's going to rip a big hole in my heart."
"You're a wise old guy, Bernard." Helana says. "Why did you let yourself get sucked in?"
"I panicked." Bernard said. "The life she's living's going to destroy her. There's no doubt about that. She, at least to me, is such a special, precious child and it was like seeing a little girl in the middle of the street with a big truck barreling down on her. There's no time to even think about it, you just jump out there in the middle of the street and try to scoop up the child even though you know that both of you are probably going to die. It would be better to die than watch that precious child get run over."
"I had no time. I desperately wanted to do something to change the direction that this precious child is going because I can't bear to see the light go out of her eyes. So I had to act fast, I had to jump in with both feet, and put my heart at risk. So I started treating her as if she was family. I cooked food for her. When it was cold at night I would go to their tent and put a blanket on her. I constantly tell her how special she is, how smart she is, how beautiful she is. Anything in my tent that she needed, or just wanted, was immediately hers. I was afraid that I would scare her away. Why would some weird old man suddenly take an interest in her. I jumped into her life without permission. That should have made her feel creeped out, but she seems to appreciate the attention I give her."
"So you're trying to save her. You know that won't work." Eileen says. "It isn't your job to do that. Anyway she'll forget about you soon after you leave here. She won't remember any of the things you did for her."
"Yes I know. She has to save herself. Maybe I'm just being selfish. I jumped into her life uninvited. I don't belong there. So now I have to jump out, and suffer the agony of disconnecting."
"Don't discount what you're doing." Pastor John says. "You have given her a precious gift, and even though she might not fully appreciate it now, in time she might. You are expressing what some people call Christ Consciousness. It's the perfect unconditional Love that can only come from God. It's the Love that honors, that respects, that protects, without judgment, without condition. You have been the vessel through which God can share his Love with her, through you. Don't underestimate Gods Love. Planted as a tiny seed a great work can grow."
"Oh Bernie." Eileen says. "I hate to burst your bubble, but I've seen this girl around town. She's not the precious child you think she is. She hangs with men two or three times her age, riding around in their cars, eating in fancy restaurants, and other stuff. I don't know if she sleeps with these guys, but the word around town is that she does."
Roxanna speculates "She might be smart, just leading them on, giving them hope that they can be with her, but not actually being a prostitute. You can actually make more money that way, because after they have sex with you they're not that excited about you anymore."
"I might be naive to think that she is still innocent." Bernard says. "But as Pastor John said my love is without condition, without judgment. I'll love her just as much if she's a little whore. She would just be a little whore that I adore. But I haven't seen any of the signs of promiscuity or prostitution. She might be hiding it but she does appear to be sexually innocent. She spends her whole day getting the money to get the drugs and food for her family. She isn't just running around being wild. She's mature beyond her years."
"In my experience" Pastor John says "Some of my patients have built a wall of dissociation, of denial. Although they engage in things that are embarrassing they put that experience into a little box in their consciousness and for them it's as if it never happened. I've known topless dancers that are a completely different person in the bar as they are at home. If you didn't know you would never expect that they had a secret night life."
"Geez, enough! My head's about to explode. I'm tired of talking about this chick." Ella says. "So she's a sweet messed up girl that you love, and I think you are secretly 'in love with her' no matter what you say about grandpa love. Why did you drag us out here? Why did you want Helana to come? I think you're in love with Helana too. What are we here for? Is this just an excuse to see Helana again before you leave town?"
"Wow!" Bernard says. "You have no filter Ella. I guess I stand guilty as accused. I do love Helana too and I did want to see her again. But I'm not using my love for Bright Eyes as an excuse. I brought you here to help me do the most horrible thing I think I've ever done. I've brought you here to help me stab this little girl in the back. I can only think of one way to change the direction of her life, at least a little bit, and I have absolutely no right to do that to her, but here it is."
"You've seen her, so now you know her. When you see her around town, 'shopping' in the various shops and boutiques, you will know that she's there to commit a crime. I know Eileen's mother is a cop and her dad is a prosecutor. It'll be easy for you to collect the evidence to get her arrested, to get her put in juvenile detention. You can even help bust the entire criminal network of thieves and fences and the private customers that buy these stolen goods. As a juvenile these are erasable mistakes, but they will be un-erasable when she's a legal adult. She'll be 18 in a little more than a year so there's not much time left."
"Juvenile detention is about as destructive as it is therapeutic and I hope she's shielded from the destructive side, but they can also send her to a rehab facility, and maybe, hopefully, change her mindset just enough to avoid the destruction that is presently ahead of her. I've racked my brain and I can't think of anything else to do."
"I work with the juvenile courts from time to time." Pastor John says. "If she's in the system I can look out for her."
"That's messed up." Helana says "Just because you love this girl doesn't give you the right to change the direction of her life, no matter how good your intentions are. That's between her and her Angels. You've shown her true love. That's the gift that you've given her, and it's the only gift of value that you can give her. Beyond that, butt the fuck out of her life. It's not yours to control.
Seriously? You're asking a teenage girl to rat out another teenage girl that we have no reason to hate. I'm not going to rat her out. That isn't what I or my crew do. We're not cops. Anyway, she's a pro. She doesn't shop in her own back yard. She shops two or three cities away, which is why she needs these guys driving her around. There is no evidence for us to witness."
"We're with Helana." Ella says. "We're not going to set her up. So pull that knife out of her back. If she does get arrested we will be there to support her, to be there in her defense, even if that pisses off our Mom and Dad, the cop and the prosecutor."
"Here is what you will do." Roxanna says. "Pray to her Angels to take care of her, and if they decide to get her busted, then leave that up to them. They know when they can intervene in her destiny and when they can't. That's not for you to know. The danger you see ahead for her might be there because it's something her spirit is destined to experience. It's not for you to judge."
"These girls are just teenagers, but they are wise. Listen to them." Bobby says. "Pray to her Angels. Pray that God will protect her. Then leave it up to God. It's not your place to presume that you can do Gods work for him." Bobby says.
"Wow! This is not what I expected, but I guess you're right." Bernard says, sadly staring at the ground. "I'm glad that I brought you all here and I'll accept your council. I've jumped in where I don't belong, so I'll bow out. I'll tell her 'vaya con Dios' and leave it at that."
"I'll keep my eyes open for her." Pastor John says. "A few months in rehab is just a first step. It may be invisible but she's suffered a lot of trauma and there are issues she'll be dealing with for decades to come. If the Lord gives me the opportunity I'll go through that journey with her. That way I will honor the love that you and God have for her."
"Even if she is a ninja thief, it's just a matter of time before she gets caught up and ends up in the system. It's not an accident that you met her and she met you. There's a divine plan playing itself out and you were part of that. Now it has to play itself out even if it doesn't work out the way you want it to. Be proud that you've done the work that was assigned to you, and let the rest of the plan work itself out as it's intended.
If you write your book here in town, please come to my little church. We could use a man like you in our little congregation. Wouldn't it be great if I can get Bright Eyes to come to church too. If you stick around maybe we can make that happen."
"Lets go home guys, before Dad comes out here with the whole US Navy." Ella says.
"I'm going to stay here with Bernie for awhile, if that's ok with Bernie." Bobby says.
"What? Why?" Ella asks.
"Aren't we forgetting somebody?" Bobby asks. "We get all excited about the beautiful girl with the Bright Eyes. What about little miss Dead Eyes. Does God have a plan for her, or does God just favor the pretty girls? I'm going to stay here and try to get to know her. You never know, she could be the love of my life and God just showed me where she is."
"Oh Bobby." Ella says. "You don't know what you're getting into. We already sponsor a girl with a drug problem and it's expensive and time consuming and there's been very little progress and it very well may be a total waste of time. Her name is Jenna and she is a very frustrating individual to deal with."
"When is Love a waste of time?" Bobby asks.
"So you just saw her from a distance and already you're in love with her?" Eileen asks.
"No. I was kidding about that, but I love everyone and I choose to share some of that love with her, if she'll let me. It's an opportunity that appeared out of nowhere, and I don't think that's by accident." Bobby says.
"Let him stay." Helana says. "He needs practice. But Bobby know this. If you want to help her you can't be in love with her. This will be an exercise in sacrifice on your part. All you'll get out of it is the satisfaction that you helped someone to find their life again. Remember, you can't fix her. You can only help her fix herself. Don't get romantically attached. That would be a disaster. The love of your life, if she exists, is elsewhere. She's not here."
This is the 52nd in a series of episodes about 3 young girls who manage to adopt an inter-dimensional entity.
"Good morning, Helana" Mr Danvers says as Helana stumbles down the stairs. "You're up early. What do you want for breakfast."
"Oh, I'll just poison my body with some cereal." Helana says.
"I'm glad you're up early this morning." Mr Danvers says as he brings her cereal and milk and her favorite cereal spoon. "This is going to sound weird, and you're going to think I'm weird, but something happened and I need your special guidance."
"OK, what happened?" Helana asks.
"Well, it's a couple of things. Some kids were in the office and they left a book of children's stories. It was open to a page and when I went to pick it up it was like a voice shouted in my head that said 'read it'. It was a silly story, but then later that day something entirely bizarre, something that scared me happened."
"What was the story about?" Helana asks.
"It's short. I brought the book home. I'll read it to you."
He's a warrior, one of the warrior class. He's large, strong, and skilled in the art of defending the colony. I would tell you his name, but here on this ant like planet, they don't have names. The planet doesn't have a name either, so I can't tell you where they are. Time here isn't enumerated, other than generalities such as cleaning time, gathering time, procession season, and stuff like that. So I can't tell you when this is either. Lets just say it's a long time ago in a place far away, and there is a planet, where ant like creatures rule. It's a planet they have neglected to give a name.
I keep saying 'ant like' because you probably also have ants where you live too. He's not like one of your ants. He's much bigger, maybe about your size, and much more an individual than your ants are. But that's okay because where he lives the air is much thicker and richer than yours is, so these ant like people can breath deep and grow very large. I also refer to 'him' as 'he', but that isn't quite what you might think either. The Warrior class, like the labor class, is an androgynous class. That means they are not boys or girls. So it really doesn't matter if I say he or she, because he isn't either one. But I have to say something, so I will call him 'he'.
Being neither a boy or a girl they don't fall in love and get married and make babies like you probably do. Only the Queen and her Princess daughters are girls. Only the Queen makes babies.
Just because they don't fall in love, though, doesn't at all mean that they don't love. They love. They love a lot. They love more than just about any species you can find anywhere. They mainly love their Queen. She's the mother of them all, the keeper of their colony, the center of their lives. Life is, for these ant like creatures, more than anything else, dedicated to the adoration, the worship, the love, and the care of the Queen.
He loves his Queen. The highlight of his day is offering time when the best gatherings are brought to the Queen. The labor class bring in the goods and lay them before the Queen. On many long tables their gifts are placed, elaborately decorated to please the Queen. The gifts are mainly food and are spread out as a huge feast. Those items not selected by the Queen are left for the worker classes to feast upon.
The Queens daughters select the best offerings and bring them to their mother. A daughter is called a Princess. There are usually a dozen or so in each colony. The Princess class learns and grows and one day, during the procession season, a Princess will select her labor ants, and her warrior ants, and go to setup a colony of her own. Yes, he loves his Queen. But he loves someone else more.
As a warrior it's his job to keep the colony safe. His favorite duty is protecting the Queen. It isn't really his job. He applied for the royal court but he wasn't selected. He also applied to work in the Princess court, protecting the young Queens as they mature. But he wasn't selected for that either. But it doesn't matter. He hangs around near the feast area every day in order to be close to the Queen and her daughters at offering time. That's where it happens. One day while assisting the labor ants in the placement of their gifts, he sees her. She's a young Princess just beginning her service to her Queen. She's so beautiful. He's stunned. Most would not have noticed any difference. She looks just like the other young queens. In fact, if there was a significant difference in her appearance, the warriors would be commanded to chop her up into pieces and carry her parts outside and dump them. There are certain subtleties, though, that he noticed. Her beauty was in her subtleties. The blue sheen of her excellent exoskeleton has a glisten to it that is beyond perfection. The sweet perfume of her Princess pheromones are sweeter than any flowers nectar he had ever experienced. Her six beautiful legs, although dainty, were strong and perfectly shaped. Her movements were delicate and graceful as she almost floats from place to place. She has the cutest little wiggle of her antenna. When she selects a gift for the queen she gives a nod and an antenna wiggle towards the presenter and he just melts in adoration of her.
Some days he offers to carry the larger gifts to the table for the labor ants. This is a bit risky, because if He's seen as operating outside his class, he will get chopped up and his pieces tossed outside. So he only offers to help with the big heavy gifts, so he can have an excuse. Warriors are much bigger so they can carry the bigger gifts without spilling them. Sometimes he will rearrange one a bit to make it more presentable. Day after day he places the gifts on the table in the hopes that she will select one of his, and he can see her up close, maybe even get an antenna touch, from the Princess that he loves so much.
Some might say that He's in love with her, but that would be inaccurate. When you are 'in love' you want to possess the object of your love. You want to take it and make it your own. Being androgynous and of the wrong class that would be impossible for him. He just loves her with the truest and most honest and perfect love their is. It is True love, not that selfish 'being in love' stuff. Oh how he hopes that one day she will select his gift. She never does, but he keeps trying, just in case.
As with all things, time moves forward, and the procession season begins. He's now too old to apply, so there is no way he could be selected for the Princess guard. It's from that guard that she selects warriors to take with her to the new colony where she will become the Queen. He watches, though, from a distance. He beams with pride as he watches his beloved Princess march the processional path, with her court of workers and warriors, out of the colony, into the world outside, to find a place and create her new colony.
He misses her so much, but He's happy for her. She has gone to a better place, where she will fulfill her destiny as Queen.
The colony is just not the same without her. Yes, there were many cute young Queens in the princess court, but there never will be one as beautiful and graceful as the one he loves. At least not as far as He's concerned. SHe's one of a kind.
As time move forward he begins to notice that He's slowing down. Others notice too, and as they do in the colony, his fellow warriors carry him to the retirement chamber. That is where he falls asleep, the sleep from which you never awake. The retirement chamber is next to the egg chamber. It's said, though it can't be proved, that the essence of the dying ant is absorbed into the developing eggs. It's a sort of reincarnation, or an afterlife, for those who have lived before. There's a lot of debate on how it all might work. The scientists say that the ant lives on through their genetics. Each ant is born knowing everything they need to know and having all the skills they will ever need to perform the duties in their class. All they need to be the perfect ant like creature is encoded into their genetics. Others believe, to the contrary, that genetics is insufficient to provide the totality of that knowledge. Something else must be going on, and it's the essence of the elders, they say, that allows the newly hatched ants to remember, at least subconsciously, who they are and who they are supposed to be. Without proof, though, the debate will continue. It may be impossible to ever know for sure.
Many generation of ant like people live their lives in the colony, and many new colonies are formed from the procession of the Princess Queens to their new colonies. The ant like planet with no name teems with life. From time to time a Princess would stay in the colony and replace an aging and ailing Queen, keeping the colony alive and healthy. Although there are many beautiful young Queens, never again will there be a special Princess so loved as the one that he loves so much. She's gone and he has died many generations ago. But from time to time it will be noticed, a solitary warrior, looking to the princess chamber, longing to see the one, the one that he loves.
He's walking through the office one evening after work, all by himself. This planet is not so far away and not so long ago, and it has a name. It is called Earth. They've hired some new people this day, but he has not met them yet. As he walks he looks across the new desk areas setup with personal items from the new people, and then it happens. It is like an electrical shock. He's stopped, frozen in his tracks, stunned by a small image caught in the corner of his vision. It is just a black and white photograph, a picture of some kids of one of the new people. Just some little kids. She couldn't be more than a 2nd grader. But there she is. Who? He doesn't know. He has no facts. All he has is a feeling, and feelings need to be interpreted to be understood. It lasts for less than a second but this feeling is intense. It is filled with adoration. It is filled with love. There is even a hint of worship. More than anything it's filled with a profound sense of recognition. A single thought emerges from the feeling and it seems to say "I know her! She's here!. The Princess is here! She's alive, on this planet, right now!" Then, as suddenly as the feeling appeared, it vanishes.
Shaking his head, he moves on about his business, not understanding what just happened. What a strange thought. Where did it come from? What does it mean? It means nothing, he thinks. It's just a silly random thought of a tired old man who should have gone home hours ago.
"Ok. That's a sweet story." Helana says. "Why does it have you so upset."
"Well." Mr Danvers says. "It sounds like a story about reincarnation, like the spirit of the warrior ant and the princess show up on Earth years, maybe millions of years later, and they remember a bit of their past lives."
"Yeah it does sound like that." Helana says "Although I'm not sure reincarnation actually works like that. More likely those memories are in the Akashic record and that person has some resonance to those memories, and it feels like it's his memory."
"This is where it gets weird." Mr Danvers says. "I guess it's called a synchronicity. That book, just randomly left in my office open to that page. Then later I'm at a dinner meeting in a restaurant and a young woman comes in with an older gentleman and it hit me, just like it hit the man in the story. I felt that I knew her, that I loved her, that somehow this young woman, about your age, was very special to me. But I've never seen her before in my life."
"I need to see her." Helana says. "Quiet your mind and bring an image of her into your consciousness, and I'll see if I can pick up on it." Helana reaches out and grabs Mr Danvers hands and they both close their eyes and concentrate.
Helana laughs. "I see her, and I know her. She's in my daily prayer list. This may not be a memory from the past, but from the future. I think you will meet her someday professionally. Get to know her, find the love that you have for her, and then recuse yourself from prosecuting her."
"What? How did you know I would meet her professionally?" Mr Danvers wants to know.
Helana laughs again. "Did that already happen? Was she arrested? You better have recused yourself."
"I did." Mr Danvers says, staring intently at Helana. "How are you knowing this stuff."
"It's the Angels." Helana says.
"You mean the hermit Angel in the woods?" Mr Danvers asks
"No. It's a long story." Helana says. "Remember when Bernard, our homeless friend came by the other day. Well, he met Bright Eyes, that's what he calls her, in the woods. Her family is homeless and their tent is in the woods near by Bernards. Bernard fell in love with her, he says she is like a grand daughter to him. He had a plan to intervene in her life to try to save her. We talked him out of that and instead we all decided to pray for her Angels to do whatever intervention is necessary. The Angels know her destiny and what is appropriate but Bernard does not."
"Save her from what?" Mr Danvers asks.
"Save her from a life of crime. Save her from a life of drugs and the criminal activity that supports that life." Helana says.
"So she's an addict?" Mr Danvers
"That label is too simplistic to describe what she is. Here is what you need to do. Contact Bernard, he's getting an apartment in town to finish his book. Also contact Pastor John at the community church. You will form a team, along with the Angels, to set miss Bright Eyes on the right path in life. You have a new daughter now, so get busy and figure out how to help this young lady find the life she is supposed to live. Just don't tell Ella, I don't think she likes her."
"Too late for that." A voice comes from the stairs. "You guys are lousy at keeping secrets."
"Ella, You know this girl, Bright Eyes, too?" Mr Danvers asks. "How did I get mixed up in this? I can't save every little street urchin that you guys find living in the woods."
"Remember the story book, the synchronicities?" Helana asks. "You were chosen, probably before you were born. Just accept it."
"Damn. I miss the days when you guys were off on some secret Navy mission. I'm not cut out for this stuff. But OK. I will contact Bernard and Pastor John and see if we can figure out a plan. First, though, I need to talk to the juvenile court and see what charges they are bringing against her. I'll let you know what happens."
"Whatever you do, Dad, don't bring her here." Ella says. "My little crew is all that I can handle right now. You and Helana keep this as your little side project and leave me out of it. This is supposed to be our rest period after all the drama with the Navy so I'm going to rest and not worry about shit, especially not this girl. She's all yours, and don't be surprised after all your work that her life path will not have changed at all."
"Not saver her. No you are not for that." A voice comes from the front door which for some reason is open.
"EZEKIEL!" the girls scream. "Come in come in. I want you to meet my Dad, Mr Danvers. And please speak normal English."
"Ah, the hermit Angel from the woods." Mr Danvers says. "What brings you to my house?"
"To apologize and to inform." Ezekiel says. "I chose you. I forgot to ask you first. I chose you and gave you the love you feel for this girl."
"So do I know this girl from some past life?" Mr Danvers asks.
"No past life." Ezekiel says. "You see, this girl has a grandmother who prays every day and every night for her. The girls name is really Valerie. All those prayers are stacking up in Heaven. So many sleepless nights worrying about her granddaughter. So many times scared every time the phone rings or there is a knock at the door. So scared Valerie is in jail, or the hospital, or dead. Some days grandmother just wants to die and have it all be over. So much pain, and so much love, sent to Heaven in a prayer. So I bundled up all that love and sent it to you, for you to show to her, to show to her what true love really is."
"So I'm not supposed to save her?" Mr Danvers asks.
"You can try, a little, to smooth the path her life will take. But her destiny is a difficult one. You can't save her from herself. That is her job. You can though provide a little guidance, a little support now and then. But don't push. Don't try to make her anything other than who she is. Her life is hers to live in her own way.
"So why me" Mr Danvers asks.
"No reason really. You were conveniently located and capable of doing the job. So I chose you.
"Well, I'll do my best." Mr Danvers says. "Is there anything I can do for you, Ezekiel?"
"Yes. I would like breakfast. Helana can cook it. She adds love to everything she does." Ezekiel says and promptly sits down at the kitchen table and waits to be served.
This is the 52nd in a series of episodes about 3 young girls who manage to adopt an inter-dimensional entity.
Eileen and Roxanna arrive at Incheon International Airport. Dressed in smart looking complementary business suits they look the part of successful business women. Everything about their outfits match in the most perfect way. A car awaits them outside.
"This is so exciting." Roxanna says. "I've been to Korea when I was little but it's so different now. Seoul and its suburbs have grown like a cancer. I think Korea will someday just be one big city."
"Yes. Seoul is the garment manufacturing capital of the world now. It's bigger than France and Italy combined." Eileen says. "I'm pitching National Garment Company which is one of the biggest in the world."
"Do you think they will understand your designs?" Roxanna asks. "Your designs are very specialized, and for a high end market."
"I think they will understand." Eileen says. "It's based on the relationship of clothing to various feel good hormones such as oxytocin and dopamine. Everyone understands those feelings."
"Yeah, but you're a psychologist and you know about that stuff." Roxanna says "These guys might just understand cloth and sewing machines."
"This is one of the most sophisticated garment companies in the world. It's their golden anniversary this year. They were started in 2008 under a different name and today it's 2058." Eileen says. "They will understand. That is why I chose them, and I want the introduction of my line of clothing to be part of their golden anniversary celebrations."
Roxanna and Eileen enter a tall glass and metal sky scraper and introduce themselves to security. Eileen is greeted in English. Roxanna is greeted in Korean which she doesn't understand at all. They smile, get their badges, and are directed to the conference rooms on the 22nd floor. Roxanna helps Eileen carry her materials and her portfolio disks for her presentation.
"So do they make clothes here?" Roxanna asks.
"Ha. No." Eileen says. "This is their world headquarters. They have dozens of manufacturing sites scattered around the world. Most of them are in Korea, China, or Japan but they even have some in the US and Mexico.
The girls are directed to a large media room. One whole wall is a single display unit. A staff person loads Eileen's portfolio disks into the media device.
The vice president of design approaches the podium. "Welcome ladies. We are honored to receive your presentation. We have reviewed your line of clothing from the US and are excited to see if we can include it within our network. Please proceed with your presentation."
"Good morning. I'm honored to be here. My name is Eileen Danvers Garcia. I'm new to fashion design as I was a lawyer first and then a psychologist for many years. Each of my careers seemed to dovetail into the next. The practice of law requires a detailed understanding of human psychology so I decided to study that as well and was so intrigued by the discipline that I became a practicing psychologist for awhile. All the while my teenage self was pulling at me not letting me forget my love of fashion."
"It's important how an outfit looks but I have always been intrigued by how clothes make you feel, at least as a woman. Dressing up in the right outfit can be better than sex, literally. As a psychologist I studied the effects of fashion on the female brain, especially the hormones dopamine and oxytocin. These hormones are also vital to the experience of sex and the connection between sex and fashion began to reveal itself. So I began to experiment with fashion designs that most powerfully evoke a sexual like response. Men feel this too, but it can be more profound in women."
"I noticed that many women like to dress up in fancy sexy underwear and lingerie even when they are alone. Add to that satin sheets and the stage is set for a warm and sexy evening even when you are alone."
"During a sexual relationship with a partner a large amount of the feel good hormone dopamine is released in the brain in both men and women. With women though, the after sex touching and hugging and especially cuddling releases the feel good hormone oxytocin which helps create a healthy bond between the partners."
"By choosing the right fabric and the cut of the fabric clothing of all types, not just lingerie, can illicit the same sort of hormone response. When you put on that new outfit you just feel good, like the afterglow of a good sexual episode. My designs use more fabric than many of the sexy clothing out there. So much of sexy clothing is about showing as much skin as possible, so there is not much fabric in contact with the body. My line of clothing has just the right amount of fabric to caress and cuddle the body but still show enough skin to look sexy."
"The look of the outfit is just as important as the feel. Lingerie has to have a look that is attractive to your partner, even if it's just your image in the mirror. Work wear, like a nice business suit, also has to have the right look. Combining the right look with the right feel and getting dressed in the morning can be the high point of your day."
"Women, of course, want to look great in a new outfit, but they also want their partner to look great as well. My line of clothing has paired up each outfit with a companion piece for your partner, whether they be a man or a women. Each piece is a great look but paired together they are fabulous. A night on the town with your partner in the right outfit will be a night to remember."
Eileen goes on for almost an hour pitching her designs and showing videos of models wearing them.
Eileen bolts up in bed. "Helana! Are you awake?"
"No." Helana responds. "What's up? Whats got you all excited?
"I just had the weirdest dream. No. Not a dream. A vision. A vision of the future." Eileen says. "I have to talk to Ella."
Later at Ella's house.
"It was so detailed, I could even smell the restaurants in Seoul cooking food. I could feel the chill in the morning air." Eileen explains to Ella.
"So what was the dream about?" Ella asks.
"It's still so vivid in my mind. It doesn't fade like other dreams. It's more like a memory, a memory of the future." Eileen explains. "I'm like 50 years old, older than my mom, and I'm a fashion designer. Before that I was a psychologist and before that I was a lawyer. It was so real. I could even remember some of the cases I handled as a lawyer and as a psychologist. I could even see my husbands face in my mind, and Oh My God I can't wait to meet that man. His last name is Garcia, he is Hispanic."
"Roxanna was there too. She modeled one of my business suits, and Oh My she looked fabulous. I took her along to put a Korean face on my design, since I was pitching it in Seoul Korea."
"So you seem upset." Ella says. "It seems like a cool dream."
"Here's the thing. The year, I remember saying it out loud in my dream, was 2058. That is well after the predicted calamity that Commander Beaker talks about. But there was no calamity. The world was normal, it was at peace, there was international trade between Korea, China, Europe and the US. Everything was OK, better than it is now."
"OK." Ella says. "It's a dream, a hopeful dream, but it doesn't mean that it's actually a picture of the future."
"No Ella, you don't get it." Eileen says starting to cry. "It was too detailed to be just a dream. It was a vision. It was a vision of the future. It was a vision of MY future. It's a prophecy. I want that future. I want to be that woman. I want to marry that man. I don't want to do this Navy thing any more. I want out.
"Oh my sweet Eileen." Ella says starting to cry. "No one is making you stay in the Navy program. If you want out, then you're out. But you will always be our sister. Even if you make new friends and move away we will always be connected at the deepest level, in our own special way."
Ella and Eileen hug and cry quickly joined by Roxanna and Helana in a group hug.
"Helana?" Roxanna asks. "Is it possible that this dream was demonic, a made up story to make Eileen leave us?"
"Even if it is, it's still Eileen's choice." Helana says. "Even if it is demonic that will be revealed as history plays itself out. Eileen is and always will be joined to us at the spiritual level so if her dream future is false she can be rejoined to us at any time and it will be like she was never apart."
"If it's still fresh in your mind, could you sketch that suit that I looked so fabulous in?" Roxanna asks.
