I read someplace that the best thing you can do as a soldier is to assume that you are already dead. There is no point in fearing death since you are already dead. Then you fight to get your life back again.
So that's what I'm doing. We're just going for it, walking into the machine guns, so to speak. If we don't resolve this soon, their going go kill us anyway, so we might as well go as far and and fast as we can. They won't know what hit them.
