You are also not just one consciousness and not just one awareness. There is the one awareness that you we call the 'I Am' awareness. That is the one that you refer to as 'I' or 'me'. There is also many more conscious entities that are part of you that may have their own awareness of themselves but which are not part of the 'I Am' that you think you are. Some of these are thought to be part of the unconscious mind but they are very much conscious and possibly aware. They are just not part of your 'I'. Sometimes you speak with these other entities when you have an argument with yourself. Who is it you thought you were arguing with?
